- 9x13 glass baking dish
Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef 85/15
- 1 Cup real bacon bits
- 1/2 Cup small yellow onion diced
- 2 T tomato paste
- 1/4 Cup water
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt I use Redmond Real Salt
- 1/2 tsp coarse black pepper
- 1 C shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350F.
- Put all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix well.
- Place mixture into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
- Spread evenly and press slightly to fill the entire dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160F.
- Top with shredded cheese and place back into the oven until melted. 2-3 min.
- Remove from oven, cut into squares and serve .
